Story:
Cogs were from the 13th century the most important commercial and warship of the Hanseatic League.
They were only used in loaded condition on the open sea.
After unloading they were immediately re-loaded with cargo.
The 15th century was characterized by cold, so that the cog was no longer sufficient for the demands of the sea.
They were increasingly replaced by the type Hulk.
The model was built according to plans by Heinrich Winter the author of the book Hanse ships in the 15th century.
The model has some openings on the deck and the fuselage to make the „offal“ visible.
